Fresh local produce from all parts of Ghana are brought here for sale. It is busiest on Saturdays at 3pm. It is a busy place enjoyable witness the hustling.
It’s the busiest beach on Ghana’s Coast, arguably the Gulf of Guinea. Has some fine bars and restaurants. The many aligned beach umbrellas make a picturesque one to show off. There are many outlets sellings kebabs and grills. There is live music, arts and culture.

This colonial era lighthouse was built in the 1930s. If you tend to catch a great view of the city’s busy and compelling fishing harbor head to the top of this old lighthouse close to James Fort.
