All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.

Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.

A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.

Book roundtrip flights to Kotoka International Airport (ACC), and plan to arrive by 6:00 p.m. local time on December 26, 2023.

You may depart Accra anytime on January 3, 2024.

The official Ghanaian money is called the cedi, and the typical exchange rate from dollars to cedi is nearly one to five. While the Ghanaian government has, in recent years, relaxed a lot of old policies concerning foreign currency restrictions, visitors should come prepared with enough United States dollars to exchange for cedi.

Please bring cash with you, most places only take cash, some places do take cards, however, to use your card you will need to set travel notices with your bank account and also know that you may be charged an international transaction fee for every card purchase. There will be an ATM at our hotel, so you may obtain the local currency at any time.

All persons 18 years-old and above arriving in Ghana will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination for a COVID-19 vaccine. Citizens of Ghana and foreign residents who are not fully vaccinated, will, however, need to provide a negative PCR test result no more than 48-hours old, and will undergo an antigen test upon arrival in Ghana. For more information please visit here.

Make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccines before every trip. These vaccines include the COVID-19 Vaccine, measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot.

The CDC recommends you visit your doctor (ideally, 4-6 weeks) before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need.
