A nice and interesting place to be as it greatly provides rich information on Ghana’s colonial history

This tour begins from Accra the capital of Ghana in a luxurious 4×4 air-conditioned or Mini-van bus with air-condition.
We shall pickup travelers from their hotel at 6:00 am. Breakfast pack is served on the bus with water and fresh fruits.
The journey to Cape Coast will excite you with an interesting and experience tour guide and a driver.
Our first stop into the ancient city will be at Kakum National Park which serves as the home to endangered mammals. The Park is rich in butterflies and birds, and also has a suspended canopy walkway 30 meters above the ground.
There will be a lunch break after travelers experience on the Canopy walkway.
Travelers will depart Kakum to the oldest European building in Sub Saharan Africa, the Elmina Castle .
Visit the slaves Castles built on the shores of Ghana, the Cape Coast Castle which served as the Administration Center for the British rule.

Travelers will then depart Cape Coast to Accra and drop off at their hotel.

Itinerary

Kakum National Park

Kakum National Park is on coast of southern Ghana, in West Africa. It protects an area of rainforest, home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants, bongo antelopes and primates like the Diana monkey. The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and hornbills. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest.

Elmina Castle

Elmina Castle was erected by the Portuguese in 1482 as Castelo de São Jorge da Mina, also known as Castelo da Mina or simply Mina in present-day Elmina, Ghana. It was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, and the oldest European building in existence south of the Sahara.

Cape Coast Castle

Cape Coast Castle is one of about forty “slave castles”, or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders.
